The Road to Recovery

The moment you decided to break that bad habit is the moment the Universe started rooting for you!!

The Earth is a school. It is also our home. We are given all the necessary resources needed to study so that we can use them to make our lives easier, longer, and better at every level of education and growth period.

As children, we are allowed to make mistakes. If it were up to me, the legal age would be raised to 30. For that is the age we see most people begin to mature, (not the body, but the mind). Some earlier, some later. However, the moment we choose to mature is the moment everything in our lives begin to shift and change according to what is that we have to overcome. Whether obstacles were placed in our way, or whether we caused the burdens that are on our path, we are given a choice. We work towards removing the obstacles, or we allow the obstacles to remain in our path, blocking us from any further movement.

No matter what obstacles we face, no matter if we decide to break any bad habits, the Universe sends us red flags, warnings, hints, messages, messengers, etc. that tells us we are leading ourselves astray. We can fall victim to our own ego and call it hate, or we can face the truth and realize that we allowed ourselves to be played. Some things look like fun, but when the joke turns on you the way that we react causes an effect. We can walk away from the jokesters, or we can get revenge. Walking away leaves the jokesters as the joke. Revenge just brings us more trauma to heal from. Most times people aren’t honest about how they feel when they are surrounded around friends or other people. They always feel as if someone is watching them and will judge them, ridicule them, hate on them, talk about them if they choose the decision of their heart. That is why they do not move in their own best interest. They act out of character and project those feelings onto others. The strongest ones do the right thing, they won’t shame another person and they won’t protect the wrongdoer either.

I’ll tell you what, the Universe rewards boldness. It is better to live in truth than to shame yourself living a lie because everyone can tell when you’re living a lie no matter how much you try to dress it up.

We are not all blind people. We can see the tension, we can see the unhappiness, we can see the fake love being shown, we can see the fake emotions being expressed, we know that you’re playing it cool in public and arguing when you make it through your front door. WE KNOW YOU’RE UNHAPPY. If we can’t see it we can definitely feel it.

That’s the Spiritual Test!!

If at the beginning of our lives, it’s filled with trial and error, at some point we learn the lessons and overcome the test. We like to cling on to what we know is bad for us because it helps us escape, suppress, and hide the issues that bother us the most. The unspeakable ones. We all know what we do wrong, we know when we’ve led someone astray. Some decide to go back and fix that. We know when others have done us wrong. Some choose to ignore that; others go and address the person. Others allow it to fester and remain without correction, leaving others to figure it out on their own. We can get rewarded for fixing our mistakes, or we can get karma for causing yet another problem that someone else has to handle for you.

When we decide to heal on our own and fix the mistakes of our past, we cause the Universe to act in our favor, giving us all the tools necessary to do so. This where your strength and boldness come in. Your enemies who love seeing you make a mockery of your life never expected for you to be better because without you they have no conversation. That is why for most this phase of our lives might get lonely until we are realigned with others who have been through it as well. We are the ones who raise the vibrations of the Earth and force others to level up to our standards.

As I’ve stated when we start that journey, everything in our lives change, our friends, family, habits, hobbies, attitude, lifestyle, place of residence, and work. All that we do is on purpose on. We have developed a plan of action. We no longer choose to do things randomly anymore. Materialistically we receive only what we need during this time, only as much as we can handle. Spiritually, we must depend on our natural abilities to survive. Our material world will get attacked because our mental strength is being tested. We have to stand firm in our decision to change. We do that no matter it takes until the process of change is over.

Would a caterpillar climb out of its cocoon with only having grown 1 wing?

NO, so you shouldn’t exit your stage of healing too soon. Why??

Every time you step off an incomplete path, the universe starts you over from step 0. No matter if you made it to step 11/12, falling back into the addiction you are trying to overcome means you aren’t ready, you aren’t completely healed or renewed. You have to start all over because you have to build a more stable cocoon. One that isn’t penetrable. Your cocoon has to be able to allow you to resist all temptation. You should be able to recognize temptation and stop it in its track, redirecting the energy back to where it came from, or allow the energy to flow past you.

The road to recovery is not easy, but it was your choice to travel upon. Once you awaken the Universe to that, you can’t stop them from pushing you forward. No matter how many times you stumble, they’re not going to stop pushing you forward, until you totally give up. Just know the dangers of giving up.

1) It will be harder to recover the next round.

2) Depending on how many times the Universe attempted to work with you, you may not get another opportunity. Your time on this planet of learning may be up.

3) Your body may not be able to handle do-overs.

The habits are material, the recovery is spiritual. It’s your choice to allow materialism to shape and rule your life or you can use the materials to reshape your life.
